Another reason to not click on unknown links!

Today, I got three alerts from Computer Associates that described vulnerabilities with Internet Explorer. The vulnerabilities talk about the possibilities of hackers being able to "insert" code to expand or create a denial of service attack using your personal computer.

This statement is included in all of the warnings:

"An attacker can persuade users to open a malicious link to cause a denial of service condition."

The previous statement re-enforces the need to not click on links that are not from a reliable person or resource. Please be careful when you click on a link in email. If the email is not from someone or somewhere you expected it to be, just be safe and delete the email.

This risk is considered high and wide spread. Be careful.

Safe Surfing,

Darrell Mishler
